Harga kopi, kakao dan karet di pasar lokal turun 5 % akibat penguatan Rupiah terhadap US Dollar. Harga kakao turun dari Rp 8.750 - 9.200 / kg menjadi Rp 7.500 - 8.000 / kg. Harga kopi Robusta turun dari Rp 3.500 - 3.800 / kg menjadi Rp 3.000 / kg, sementara kopi Arabika tinggal Rp 14.000 - 15.000 / kg dari harga semula Rp 15.000 - 16.000 / kg. Harga bahan olah karet (bokar) turun dari Rp 4.400 - 4.600 / kg menjadi tinggal Rp 4.300 - 4.500 / kg.  
Coffee price, cacao and rubber in the local market depress 5 % following the reinforcing of Rupiah against the US Dollar this weeks. Cacao price Rp 8,750 - 9,200 / kg  depressed to be Rp 7,500 - 8,000 / kg. Robusta coffee price from Rp 3,500 - 3,800 / kg to be Rp almost Rp 3,000 / kg menwhile Aravica coffee has similar trend ( from Rp 15,000 - 16,000 / kg to be Rp 14,000 - 15,000 / kg). Natural rubber price from Rp 4,400 - 4,600 to be remained at Rp 4,300 - 4,500 / kg.   

Tahun Ini Indonesia Impor 30.000 Ton Kopi

Indonesia akan melakukan impor kopi sebanyak 30.000 ton tahun ini dari Vietnam dengan pertimbangan harga yang lebih murah dari harga kopi robusta grade 4 di sini. Lonjakan jumlah impor terutama disebabkan oleh aksi tahan oleh petani dan pedagang kopi lokal menyusul anjloknya harga kopi dari Rp 4.800 menjadi Rp 3.600 dalam 2 bulan terakhir. Harga kopi robusta di Lampung tercatat antara Rp 3.600 - 3.800 (~ US$ 0.396 per kg) FOB Panjang. Sedangkan harga benchmark kopi kontrak September di LIFFE (London) anjlok US$ 10 menjadi US$ 459 per ton. bahkan pada Agustus lalu sempat mencapai posisi terendah selama 30 tahun yaitu US$ 448 per ton. Biasanya
Indonesia mengimpor 10,000 ton kopi per tahun.
Indonesia predicted to import almost 30,000 MT of coffee from Vietnam this year since their price much cheaper compared to such commodity (grade 4 robusta)  in the local market. Quantity rised imported mainly due to holding action by the farmers and local traders following prices plunged from Rp 4,800 / kg to be Rp 3,600 pe kg in the past 2 months. Robusta coffee price recorded in Lampung beween Rp 3,600 - 3,800 (~ US$ 0.396 per kg). FOB Panjang. Meanwhile benchmark price for contract coffee plunged US$ 10 to be US$ 459 per mt instead of the worst price in last 30 years as low as US$ 48 per mt in last August. Indonesia used to import about 10,000 mt of coffee per year.
